In summary there are two types of engine conversion available, either a single tank conversion where your main fuel tank is converted to accept PPO and the vehicle can be run on PPO, diesel or a combination of the two at any or all times, or the dual tank system which involves converting your main tank to accept PPO, diesel or a combination of the two and a secondary smaller tank that must only be filled with mineral based diesel.

With the dual tank system it is necessary to run the vehicle on normal diesel for a few minutes at the beginning and end of each journey. Switching over fuel supply from one tank to another is simply done by flicking a switch on the Elsbett control located on the dashboard.
